LAW & ORDER “SHOOTS” AT PLEASANTDALE CHATEAU

Stars of the television show Law & Order returned to Pleasantdale Château not for trick or treating but to film a segment of Law & Order: Special Victims Unit on October 31 – a day better known as Halloween.

West Orange businessmen Wade Knowles (restaurateur of The Manor, Highlawn Pavilion and Pleasantdale Château) and Dr. Owen Legaspi, Director of Physical Therapy, 470 Prospect Avenue, West Orange, were on hand to celebrate the filming on Halloween.

Law and Order: SVU Investigates Murder at Pleasantdale Chateau

The stars of NBC's show "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" spent the day filming at Pleasantdale Chateau recently. Pleasantdale was used as an elegant private home in the episode "Manipulated" which was aired on Tuesday, February 7, 2006.

Pleasantdale Chateau welcomed the cast and crew of Law & Order: SVU. The cast and crew of Law & Order: SVU enjoyed Chef Ike's renowned Rack Lamb Chops, so much so that they insisted on including the famous chops in this photo!

The show, a Halloween special, will be aired during the week of Halloween 2005. The network chose to return in mid-May to film additional episodes featuring barbecue and picnic settings.  According to Julie Epstein, the producer of the shows that have been filmed at the Château, "they are just the most beautiful shows I’ve ever seen."
